今回は、猪熊弦一郎の「猫」をテーマに12点掲載しています。
猪熊弦一郎（1902-1993）の描いた「猫」をモチーフとした作品をご紹介いたします。猪熊夫妻は、多い時には一度に１ダースの猫を飼っていました。
そのためでしょうか、猫が人が寄り添い、人との暮らしの中で伸び伸びと過ごす様子を、たびたび描いています。今回は、その中から12点を選び掲載しました。
猪熊の愛情溢れるあたたかい眼差しと画家ならではの鋭い観察眼によって描かれた「猫」を1年間お楽しみください。
